SEOUL - Samsung appear to be increasingly optimistic about the success of which he held, as the No. 2 handset maker in the world. Even this year, South Korean companies are sure to be the largest mobile phone maker, beat the dominance of Nokia.

Confidence is even visible from the statement of Chief Executive Samsung, Choi Gee-sung, "What good is selling $ 20 phones, if our sales are on the Nokia years ago. Even the profit was also higher."

In fact, Choi told reporters, as reported by Reuters on Wednesday (1/11/2012), Samsung believes this year will be the world's largest mobile phone maker, ending 14 years of Nokia in the mobile handset market.

So with his success, Samsung will now focus more on improving profits. "Competition will come from other places. There are more than we make a profit, then the target we had to move here," said Choi.

Samsung did manage to become the largest smartphone manufacturer in the third quarter of 2011, which quickly build success by design 'slim' and the line-up products.

Even so, Apple would still be the most smartphone makers generate profits, by offering a 40 percent gross margin. As a comparison, Samsung's mobile phone division has reported a margin of 17 percent.

In spite of it all, Apple is Samsung's biggest clients, especially for chips and flat screens and simultaneously sainggannya. As we all know both companies are currently engaged in a war patents globally.
