CALIFORNIA - Apple re-patented intellectual property, namely the power adapter and the processor. Power adapter and the processor is designed to store passwords.
According to the United States patent (U.S.), filed by Apple is a device containing a memory unit, which is functioning as a password manager. Fungi password manager will be useful when users forget their password.
When users forget their password, then the computer will use the identifier to retrieve a secret password that is stored on the adapter.
Reported by SC Magazine, Thursday (01/12/2012), recovery of this secret can be generated by encrypting the password using a universally unique identifier (UUID). Process descriptions can be linked to a specific device or interface such as printers and routers. This step, according to Apple, will increase the security if the adapter is stolen.
In this patent, Apple said memory unit will help reduce the need to reset the password and advise the user to select the appropriate password. However, the password manager free software is already available for many years, and can be operated in many mobile platforms and operating systems.
Password Manager helps users manage passwords and store them in a database and can be accessed using the master password.
